Entry #0: Not the First Entry, but a Sneaky Peaky.
Oct 23, 2026Hiiiii! Hello! Greetings My Loyal Readers!
LOL that this is brand new and if you go look at the view count it's gonna say like 4 people. Like bitch, me and 3 other people are your loyal readers?!
Yes. Yes y'all are. And I thank you for being here.
A side note before I dive in, you see how I spelled y'all?
I see so many people online spell it ya'll.
But that doesn't make sense. And I am not the puncuation police or anything like thattttttt becuase I have when bitches be in my comments online coming for my typos and mistakes like "YoU SpElLeD a WoRd WrOnG oN sLiDe 4..."
But in my brain... you + all would be you'all. Which would be y'all. The apostrphe is taking place of the ou in you making it y'all.
IDK I could ask AI how it really is spelled but whatevssss. That ain't what we're here for.
So Why The Weekly Crashout?
Most of my audience doesn't know this, but in 2017 I started Kinda Sorta Teacher as a blogger.
Prior to 2017 (like 2015-2016) is when I first started dabbling with blogging becuase I had undiagnosed ADHD and too many ideas in my head and love a new hobby and of course didn't have the time to take blogging seriusly but it seemed soooooo fun.
So okaiiii 2015ish, I was Single Momma of Three online.
That was my first website domain on Wix.
My Instagram handle.
I was also internging and writing locally for an online magazine for free.
And teaching full time (I started teaching in August of 2014 at 23).
And that first year teaching, I became a single momma of three.
Yes. At 23. And as a first time teacher on a $32,000 salary.
And that firends, is how Single Momma of Three was born.
I wrote here and there, nothing too crazy. It was a creative outlet that helped me keep my sanity as I was navigating my new life.
I look back now and realize that I was fucking invincible back then. But truly I had no idea of the weiight of my life.
Trauma was all I knew. Chaos pumped through my veins. I was an undiagnosed ADHD girlie (whcih I now know is also CPTSD).
I had no idea that my parents were the root cause of so many of the issues that were brewing in my life.
I just thought it was "how things were."
And now I realize that this era of my life, while it was some of my hardest, darkest, and lonliest days...
Teaching saved me. And for that, I am forever indebted to the profession.
Fast forward to 2017...
Ah, yes. My blogging career never kicked off (shocker).
I met my now-husband who I was so fucking obsessed with (still am).
And I felt it was just so rudeeee of me to have a whole IG and website where I was branded as Single Momma of Three.
Having the jsut moral compas that I possess, as soon as we were officially dating (which was like literally immediatly... we are one of those insane couples that hung out once then never missed a day without eachother for the history of forever...) I decided I had to change my name online.
I knew I wanted to keep blogging and posting cute pics of my kids on Facebook and Instagram (this was pre-TikTok).
So I did what entrepreneurs do best-- I rebranded.
My 451 followers would now know me as Kinda Sorta Teacher.
And I was so serious abput this change, not only did I but the domain and change my IG handle.
In 2018 I went and registered for a business license too becuase I was entering the world of becomming a small business owner without even realizing it.
I was charging $200 to build full websites for a few local gals here in my town.
And babyyyyy, that is how Kinda Sorta Teacher was born.
And here we are... 2 million dollars and hundreds of thousands of followers later still trying to figure out life.
So that is the lore I'll be sharing here.
Ain't much change, really.
I have more money in the bank account, but you know what they say, the mo money the mo problemzzzzzz.
Single Momma of Three has been with the man behind the name change for 9 years now.
We got married in 2020.
Had a baby in 2021.
This is around the era many of my OGs would recognize as the brith of Kinda Sorta Teacher.
The COVID days with my big baby bump + 4 other kids running wild in the background of my videos.
Those kids aren't so little anymore now.
My oldest will be 18 in December (and just finished her free and public education over 6 months early). I have a wholeeee entry coming out for thissssss evevtaully.
Our middle schoolers are 12, 14, and 14.
And our youngest is in kindergarden and will be 6 in January of 2027.
And life is still crazy, just in a different way.
And my ideas still run wild, just in a more bold and convicted way now that I've found my voice.
And that is what I'll be sharing in The Weekly Crashout.
All of the things. All of the real and raw and vulnerable and potent and rude and fucked up and jaw dropping and gut punching truths that dance in my big, beautiful brain rent free.
Thanks for coming along on the ride. I can't wait for y'all to get to see more of me over here, on the dark side.
Okaiiii, luv ya, byeeee.
Cheers,
Ty Tiger | Kinda Sorta Teacher
